Seaside Casual traces its roots to a remarkable century-old family enterprise. It all began in 1911 when Carold D. “Kit” Arnold established the Arnold Lumber Company. Together with his son Arthur, Kit built the business—from its early days as a sawmill to a thriving retail operation—through relentless dedication and creative problem-solving. That same spirit carried forward to Arthur “Art” Arnold, Jr., the current leader of both Arnold Lumber and Seaside Casual Furniture. Under Art’s guidance, the company expanded significantly, and it was during his tenure that Seaside Casual launched its debut furniture piece, sharing enduring outdoor style with the community.
